What Do We Do
The Bachelors Barge Foundation promotes competitive rowing by supporting amateur youth rowing programs in the Delaware Valley, fostering spirit and pride in the sport through the preservation and display of rowing awards and memorabilia.

The Foundation is dedicated to:

• Developing young amateur oarsmen and oarswomen in competition
• Encouraging amateur programs for school groups and the public with emphasis on junior rowers; and
• Securing rowing equipment for school rowing programs and others who lack the benefit of school rowing programs.

Recent Developments.  Bachelors Barge Foundation is maintaining the public display of trophies and achievements from more than 150 years of rowing activity on the Schuylkill River.

Funding Youth Participation.  Limited funding may be available to promote the participation of disadvantaged youths in amateur rowing programs.
